Hilutungan Island is one of the seven isles that comprises the Olango Reef with approximately 25 minutes away from Mactan island. It is a marine sanctuary that is also very well-known for snorkeling, fish feeding and scuba diving.
The marine sanctuary offers a vibrant marine life in the shallows: some turtles, some big schools of parrot and bat fish, schools of jack fish, drummers, ribbon sweetlips, black snappers, midnight snappers, surgeon fish and others. Excellent for beginners and under water photographers.
Nalusuan Island is a private island resort and marine sanctuary. It is approximately 30 minutes away from Mactan Island. The island has its iconic long pier that boats dock at and is where marine sanctuary is located.
The island has is popular for day trippers who can enjoy the island for some great snorkeling and other resort aqua activities. Activities include snorkeling in the protected coral gardens, scuba diving, swimming in the wide sandbar, or just relaxing in the resort. The resort also offers seafood lunch package for tourist.
Pandanon island is a beautiful island with a long, winding sandbar that changes with the tide. The island can be reached by a one-hour boat ride from Mactan, Cebu. It is one of the destinations for the popular Cebu island hopping tours
